City Ambulance was founded in 2007. Our staff, equipment, and units were designed to exclusively service and cater to the needs of freestanding emergency rooms. City Ambulance has become one of the fastest growing private ambulance services in Texas.

Potential City Ambulance employees go through a rigorous interview process, including background checks and drug-screenings. If hired, employees must maintain a current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification, train frequently with in-house AHA instructors, and participate in frequent mock codes to ensure each medic is up to date with their skills.

Each unit in our fleet is staffed with a Paramedic, EMT, and is MICU-ready. Every five years our ambulances are replaced with a new unit. Each unit is equipped with its own vent, pump, and cardiac monitor. With multiple 24-hour units strategically placed in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, we are able to keep our response times below 30 minutes.

Today, City Ambulance is well known for meeting the needs of freestanding emergency rooms throughout Texas. We have extended our training services to partner-facilities – frequently offering BLS, ACLS, PALS courses, and mock codes on-site at the facility. Our success is greatly dependent upon the success of the facilities we service. Our goal is to create a unique partnership with the same marketing goals in mind for your facility.
